  "Technology + Communication Strategies = Better Communication!"
  Too often people living with hearing loss look to technology to solve all their communication challenges. While hearing aids, cochlear implants and assistive listening devices help, they likely do not solve all problems. Lisa will talk about factors that interfere with one's ability to understand and what you, the listener, can do to help yourself.

• HLAA Convention 2010—June 17–20 at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center and Midwest Airlines Center.
